CECILIA SEBESTA – NEW CEO AT EDSBYN

Cecilia Sebesta has been appointed as the new CEO of AB Edsbyverken (“Edsbyn”). She will assume office on 1st February 2024.

“It feels incredibly promising to be able to present Cecilia Sebesta as the new CEO of Edsbyn”, says Conny Torstensson, board chairman of Edsbyn. “Edsbyn is situated in a very exciting and important period of change and Cecilia will take on a key role in this transformation. She is a genuine and energetic person with solid experience from the design and interior design industry. She also has a wide network of contacts both in Sweden and internationally. I am convinced that Cecilia, together with the organization, will develop and position Edsbyn for success in the future”.  

Cecilia Sebesta, who was born in 1973, has for almost two decades worked primarily with export sales and establishment. She comes most recently from the American furniture manufacturer Emeco where she was responsible for sales and operations on the EMEA market. Prior to that, she has worked for brands such as B&B Italia, Walter Knoll and the Swedish producer Kasthall, where she also was part of the operational management team. Cecilia has a degree in economics with a specialization in strategy from Linköping University.
