The Escape series
Escape is a flexible seating series that lets three distinct modules combine into small or large landscapes – from waiting areas to lobbies, meeting zones, or spontaneous workspaces.
With soft, rounded shapes reminiscent of water-smoothed stones, Escape brings both flow and variation to interior spaces. Modules can be complemented with backrests, power outlets, and tables discreetly mounted in the base. Designed by Mario Ruiz, the series unites technical precision with sculptural simplicity. Manufactured in Edsbyn using production surplus, Escape can be expanded as needed – linking or zoning spaces naturally and intuitively.

Mario Ruiz is an award-winning industrial designer based in Barcelona. He has collaborated with global companies such as Steelcase and Haworth and received Spain’s most prestigious design award in 2016. For Edsbyn, he has designed the modular Escape sofa.
