Office

A new chapter for a long-term player

Skandia, Stockholm

Kontor inrett med möbler från Edsbyn. Hug Chair och Feather table.

When Skandia updated its headquarters in central Stockholm, the goal was to create a sustainable workspace that supports both focus and collaboration.
As one of Sweden’s leading companies in pension and investment, Skandia wanted to combine long-term thinking with a modern workplace experience.

"We wanted to create work environments that stand the test of time – both functionally and aesthetically."

Francesca Tedde, Architect, Senab

Old meets new – with sustainable design at the center

The result is an office where existing solutions have been integrated with new design and custom-made furniture. Architect Francesca Tedde (Senab) has created work environments that combine function and warmth, with a clear focus on circularity, comfort, and longevity. In the shared areas, Edsbyn’s Hug Chairs, Everlong Sofas, and generous configurations of Gather Modular are used to create flexible, welcoming zones for conversation and breaks.

A SPACE FOR THE WORKPLACE OF TOMORROW

The new headquarters accommodates around 1,000 workstations across more than 16,000 square meters – designed to meet the needs of both today’s and tomorrow’s employees.
