A modern workplace built on sustainable values

AFRY, Jönköping

When AFRY updated its office in Jönköping, the goal was to create staff and lunch areas that better reflect the company’s identity as sustainable, welcoming and functional. The premises offered generous space and abundant daylight, but needed a clearer structure and a more cohesive expression. The assignment was carried out by Senab, who selected furniture combining comfort with strong character.

A warm and welcoming whole

The interior was designed to create distinct zones within the space, with areas for breaks, meetings and social interaction. Textiles in warm tones and furniture with soft forms give the environment a calm and inviting atmosphere. The combination of natural light and carefully considered material choices contributes to a sense of balance, while function and flow remain central throughout.

For Senab, it was important to choose furniture that brings together aesthetics and quality. Pia Heldt at Senab describes the selection as a balance of comfort, quality and appealing soft forms. Furniture from Edsbyn has helped strengthen the overall impression and create an environment where form and function meet naturally.
"The environment feels welcoming and modern. We are particularly pleased with how reuse was integrated into the project. For example, we refinished conference tables and updated surfaces instead of buying new."

Liselott Sporrong, Project Manager at AFRY

Wellbeing, reuse and sustainability

Sustainability is a consistent focus throughout AFRY’s operations, and reuse played a key role in this project. In Jönköping, existing furniture was given new life through repainting and surface updates, extending its lifespan while conserving resources. The result is an environment appreciated by both employees and visitors.
