Heritage in a new form
Eski brings together modern comfort with subtle references to history. The upholstered seat features a discreet nod to the iconic 1950s Fanett chair, while the steel frame can be complemented with solid oak runners – a tribute to Edsbyn’s roots as a ski manufacturer.
Sustainable materials
The seat is made of a bio-based foam that combines high comfort with low environmental impact. The chair can be upholstered in one of our responsibly selected fabrics, available in a wide range of colours.

From the designer
From the designer The idea was to connect Edsbyn’s history with the future. Inspired by Ilmari Tapiovaara’s iconic Fanett chair from 1955 – a classic of Scandinavian design still found in many Swedish homes – we created a chair with an upholstered shell that combines ergonomics, elegance and playfulness.
The recognisable angles from Fanett have been translated into a distinctive pattern in the seat’s seams – a symbolic link between past and future. The series is available in three versions, with the rocking chair on wooden runners standing out as a clear homage to Edsbyn’s legacy as a ski producer. /Luca Nichetto
